The European Weightlifting Federation organised the Electoral congress for the next Olympic cycle 2021-2024 in Moscow. Jesmond Caruana, President of Malta Weightlifting Association, was elected as Executive Board Member of the European Weightlifting Federation (EWF).
Caruana had been a member of the European technical committee since 2012 were he was elected for the first time for the period between 2012-2016 and again 2016-2021.
