During the Mediterranean Games in Tarragona Spain the Mediterranean Weightlifting Confederation (MWC) organised the Quadrilateral Electoral Congress on 26th June were Jesmond Caruana president of the Malta Weightlifting Association contested for the position of Vice president in which he was elected.
