Saturday evening 25th February, the SportMalta awards finals took place in the Mediterranean conference center in the Malta Capital, Valletta.
President of the Malta weightlifting Association, Jesmond Caruana, placed 3rd place in his respective category: Official of the year. First and second place went for Football and Basketball.
First time nominee, Yazmin Zammit Stevens finished in 2nd place to Tiziana, an athlete of ten pin Bowling. Zammit Stevens was followed by another athlete from Bowling, and athletes from Tennis and athletics.
