At the end of last week The Malta Weightlifting Association organised its Annual General Meeting.
The meeting was observed by Malta Olympic Committee General secretary Mr. Joe Cassar. During the meeting reports of works that had been accomplished during the year were presented together with a plan for future development of this sport in the coming years.
Jesmond Caruana was confirmed again as President and Mark Pirotta was confirmed again as treasurer. No other nominations to contest these positions were received by the Association.
The Committee for the coming years shall be made up of J. Caruana, J. Vassallo, M. Pirotta, N. Coleiro, and R. Borg.
