Jesmond Caruana President of the Malta Weightlifting Association was selected by the International Weightlifting Federation for the Duty of Referee in the IWF World Championships in Houston USA from 19th to 28th November.
This competition was very important as this was the last chance for the athletes to qualify for next Year Olympic Games trough the Worlds.
Caruana also participate in the IWF Congress held at the Hilton Hotel.
